風土や文化に根ざす生きるための知と科学技術が相克しつつも共存する背景にあるものごとを、空間図式に注目し、地域にある臨床の知の共創と継承のための４つ課題を通して浮き彫りにした。1)普遍性に駆逐された固有性に再び意味を持たせ、2)固有の文化と普遍的な要求を共存させる術を探し、3)普遍的な技術を加えて固有の知を更新し、4) 固有の知と普遍的な知の折り合い方を探ることである。これらはいくつかの研究方法を並行して繰り返して気づいた仮定である。

Generally, when conductors tell chorus how to sing well, they frequently use gestures and metaphor. In order to clarify the system how conductors and the member of the chorus communicate together in practices, I analyzed the way a conductor used to communicate with chorus, and chorus’s interpretations about a conductor’s advices. As a result, I found that a conductor used three ways, words, examples by songs, and gestures, in telling chorus how to sing. Moreover , I found not always all chorus receive same meaning from conductor’s advices.

熟練者のピアノレッスンでは, 演奏を中断すべき介入と継続すべき介入とが, 教師と生徒の両者によって適切に区別・調整されている. この調整方略を明らかにするために, 音大生のレッスンをビデオ撮影し, 介入‐応答のパターンを分析した. その結果, 介入タイミング（生徒の演奏音と介入発話・演奏の時間的競合の有無）と介入の内容（介入演奏と現在の演奏との関係, 指示詞・呼びかけの使用）が資源として用いられている可能性が示唆された.
